One group of mice was exposed to ethanol (EtOH) vapor in an inhalation chamber while the control group was not exposed to EtOH (air only). The investigators note that they consider the most important measurement in the study to be: "withdrawal severity during 0-25h (area under curve of HIC scores), aerolized EtOH normalized to controls" (see below).
