An investigation of mechanisms underlying ethanol-induced intoxication.
Animals were scored using an observation-based rating scale of ataxia in
combination with automated assessment of activity and motor function in an open field.
Animals were measured at baseline
and then again following ethanol administration at one of two randomly-assigned doses:
(1) EtOH 2.75 g/kg body weight i.p.;
(2) EtOH 3.0 g/kg body weight i.p.
