Acclimation

Mice shipped from vendor at 6-10 wks of age and acclimated for several weeks; tested at 16 wks.

Procedure: Hematology

    1. Mice fasted 4-5 h.
    2. Mice anesthetized 2-3 h after beginning of the light cycle.
    3. Blood collected from retro-orbital plexus into EDTA-coated glass capillary tubes.
    4. Samples analyzed using HemaTrue Veterinary Hematology Analyzer following manufacturer instructions.
