Animals were assessed in a cross-sectional study using densitometer dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) system. Note: Phenotyping and data collection were performed by two technical teams; one group collected 6 mo data while the other group collected 12 and 20 mo data.

Procedures conducted:
• body size and weight  Body weight, body length, body mass index. Aging study, 6mo, 12mo, 20mo.
• DXA  Body mass, fat mass, lean mass, bone mineral density and content, body area, bone area. Aging study, 6mo, 12mo, 20mo.
